Ultimate Toddler/Preschool Indoor Activity Guide to Never Leaving the Island

I love taking my toddler to one of the many playgrounds and parks in Alameda (look out for a playground guide, coming soon!), but it’s nice to add variety to the week and it’s even nicer when we don’t have to cross a bridge or tunnel. Although summer is quickly approaching, we know that doesn’t necessarily mean sunny warm days 24/7 here in the bay. Whether you are looking for some fun indoor drop-in activities to mix things up during the week, or you are interested in signing your little one up for a dance, music or sport class, look no further. Here is your ultimate indoor activity guide to never leaving the island! These are all great indoor options in Alameda for your toddler or preschooler to play and explore — ending with a nice, long nap if all goes well.

We hope this list of indoor activities for your toddler or preschooler gave you some ideas of places you haven’t tried out before. There are so many options right here in Alameda, that we don’t even have to leave the island! Another great resource for fun activities to check out is the Alameda Family Collective – this is a wonderful place to connect with other families, and actually how I met local mamas when my toddler was first born. From first hand experience, I will say that it’s definitely more fun to explore these indoor activities with friends!
